HBA Builds a Bridge

Annual awards recognize craftsmanship and professionalism in home-building

The Bridge Awards are presented annually by the Home Builders Association of Greenville and GBS Building Supply. The three categories—craftsmanship, sales and marketing, and individual awards for professionalism and contribution—are awarded to recognize quality.

“The Bridge Awards serve as a testament to the industry’s commitment to excellence and the transformative impact of construction on our communities,” said HBA Executive Vice President Taylor Lyles.

A gala held earlier this year celebrated the achievements in craftsmanship and professionalism in homebuilding. Plans are underway for next year’s event, which will take place in the spring.

Steve Carson, co-owner of CarsonSpeer Builders, was honored to be recognized, along with his team, as 2022 Builder of the Year.

“The Bridge Awards opens new doors for our company and provides new avenues that allow clients a look into who we are and how we can make their dreams a reality,” he says. In addition to Builder of the Year, CarsonSpeer Builders won best kitchen, bath, exterior, and overall in a custom new home category and best outdoor living in the special features category.
