Decor pieces that spark summer fun memories.

Heading for the beach anytime soon this summer? If so, you may want to take some time to look for treasure to add to your decor. Sea life can be beautiful and inspiring when it comes to creating a work of art for your home. If you’re lucky, you may find a large conch shell during your hunt. Or a collection of some smaller shells to place in a glass container or wicker basket that would make a lovely display.

If you like the thought of having something from the sea that has been artistically created by someone else, check out some of the vintage pieces. Each has an element that includes some form of sea creature, a place in which a sea creature may have resided, or in one case, a mythical sea creature.

Enjoy exploring what nature and talented creatives can provide while on vacation this summer.

Inspiring Sea Items

Natural dried purple Caribbean sea fans, 1950s.
Hand-blown yellow and pink art glass seashell.
Shell-embellished storage boxes.
