“That is one good thing about this world . . . there are always sure to be more springs.” – Lucy Maude Montgomery (author of Anne of Green Gables)

Spring is always so delightful. It presents a time of rejuvenation from the dreariness of winter. Of course, this year it wasn’t so bad since 70-degree temperatures surprised us for a short period of time in February. That was a welcome change.

If you’re geared up for spring, we have some great articles for you, including three very different homes for you to peruse.  The owner of a house in Green Valley made her dream a reality with the building and decorating of her new home. The residence is beautiful throughout, with treasures accumulated over time. Another home is from the mid-century modern era and will be included in this year’s GreenvilleMOD tour on April 13. Visiting this home will open the door for what you’ll not want to miss on the tour. Then it’s on to a contemporary home in The Cliffs Valley community. Stunning views, shades of blue throughout, and impressive architecture and decor make this home extraordinary.

In Composition, you’ll find a delightful and unique way of wrapping gifts. If you’re looking for ways to highlight your outdoor spaces, check out the Outdoor Art article. Trade Folio highlights some ideas to dress your home’s windows. Detour takes us to New Orleans, where you’ll learn about the fabulous Bevolo Gas & Electric Light store. And don’t skip the Treasure article; it will make you smile. There’s more, keep on turning the pages.

I’m perusing my dictionary of flowers and plants to find out what I might want to add to our garden this year. There is so much beauty that it’s a tough decision to make.

A final quote:

“Gardening requires lots of water—most of it in the form of perspiration.” – Louise Erickson

Enjoy!

Lynn
